Heathfield School is one of the oldest and most intimate independent boarding schools for girls in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1899 by Eleanor Beatrice Wyatt in a beautiful Italianate villa originally built for the Paravicini family, and sits on 36 acres of green grounds in Ascot, Berkshire — around 45 minutes from central London, close to Windsor and Heathrow. Today around 240 girls aged 11 to 18 study here, following the GCSE and A-Level curriculum. Heathfield is celebrated for its award-winning Art & Design programme, its partnership with the Leiths culinary academy and one of the leading school equestrian teams in the country, including polo. Alumnae include actress Sienna Miller, fashion icon Isabella Blow, polar explorer Rosie Stancer and HRH Princess Alexandra. From September 2026 the Sixth Form becomes co-educational, and from September 2027 Year 7 will open to boys as well.
